Nevada Issued The First Online Gaming License In US

There has been a lot of attention directed towards Nevada recently and not just because of the World Series Of Pokers that is currently taking place in Las Vegas but more importantly due to the movement of the State Senate trying to make online gambling legal. There have been speculations regarding some of the big casino operators from Las Vegas as well as from Atlantic City but there was a real concern about the regulations which made it a risk for most of them.

Many gamblers have been demanding the right to play their favorite games online and until now, they had to settle for European casino operators. With the release of US online gaming licenses, the state will not only be able to offer better security for the users but also earn a share of the profit.

Bally Technologies, one of the biggest operators in the gambling industry has recently announced that they have been awarded an online gaming license by the state of Nevada making them the first gaming company from the United States to go online. The company offers a lot of services already and they are known for their slots machines as well as for the great interactive applications, mobile apps, and more.

It took less than a month for the state of Nevada to issue the license after the preliminary requirements were met. This marks a very big moment in the history of Online Casinos and not just for US citizens but also for international players. The news alone is enough to catch attention but we will still have to wait and see how thing develop over the next few months and of course, what other big casino operators will offer their services on the internet by the end of the year.

The unanimous decision made by the Nevada gaming board earlier this week has made the chief of Bally Technologies very happy. They are now the first American company to provide online gambling and the market is expecting the launch with open arms and it is clearly a great opportunity. However, there are still concerns of the future success that Bally will have online but this is always common when things change; someone has to be the first to try it and it can always end both ways. Bally Technologies has also announced that they plan on making big investments into this project over the next few years since they have been given a head start. With this new awarded license, Bally Technologies will provide business-to-business iGaming possibilities on their platform. This means that the casino operators found in Nevada will have to start a partnership in order to have access to the online market. An agreement has been signed with Golden Nugget Casino since before the license was issued just to get things started as soon as possible. Another big company awaiting approval from the state of Nevada is International Game Technology but there is currently no news about that.
